The Role:

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure trade, material & supplier costs are competitive
- Manage the end-to-end procurement & on-boarding of subcontractor & suppliers
- Update & maintain a subcontractor trade base
- Build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Process quotations & recommendations
- Tender projects
- Liaise between insured parties & insurance companies
- Build and maintain detailed and ordered customer and claim records
- Provide regular client updates via phone and email
- Drive strong customer focused outcomes on all claims
- Follow up Contract Documentation, Excess Payments, etc
- Work closely with estimators, supervisors & team
- Assist and engage with cost reporting for projects
- Organise contracts, process quotes & update variations
- Ensure purchase orders & sub-contracts are sent out accurately & in a timely fashion
Key Selection Criteria: Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? The following selection criteria is also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.
- Previous construction and administration experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Construction background highly regarded, however not essential
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
- Ability to develop strong relationships
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Can-do & positive attitude
- A willingness to learn & start from the ground up in a fast-moving organisation and team.
