Form of workWe are seeking a Junior Garment Technician to join a luxury global fashion brand. The ideal candidate will support the pattern makers by assisting with style management, participating in fittings with models, drawing technical sketches, measuring garments and helping with patterns and yields in pattern making software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up styles in AP-21 for pattern makers to cross-check and add yields.
- Monitor Raw Material information and communicate any inconsistencies to the Design Room Manager.
- Prepare SMS packs for offshore factories and ensure accuracy of details.
- Record and highlight any discrepancies in sample specifications for adjustments.
- Assist in marker creation and attend fittings to record fit notes.
What You Will Bring:
- Completed tertiary fashion course with at least one year of Pattern Room experience.
- Blend of creative and technical skills in garment technology.
- Strong relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator; familiarity with PLM and Gerber/Lectra is advantageous.
