We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our team, practising predominantly in the areas of Family and Criminal Law. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with some practical experience looking to advance their career in these dynamic fields of law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle matters with a focus on Family and Criminal Law, under the supervision of senior lawyers.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate on their behalf, as required.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice clearly and effectively.
- Document Drafting: Draft and review legal documents under the guidance of senior lawyers.
Experience:
- Law degree from a recognised university.
- Admission to practice law in Australia.
- Experience in Family and Criminal Law is advantageous but not required.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
