The Opportunity
Our highly regarded Disputes & Insolvency team are searching for two junior Administration Assistants to join our busy practice on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will be supporting our Principals and Solicitors with a range of administrative tasks whilst also gaining on-the-job mentoring, training and support.

The role
Our ideal candidate will have just finished high school and looking to kickstart their career or is a 1st or 2nd year uni student studying law and is looking for an entry-level legal position. Prior experience in a general administration role would be advantageous but is not required. Accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for supporting our legal team and ensuring that documents are prepared in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Drafting various legal documents such as briefs, affidavits, and general correspondence.
- Drafting cost agreements and preparing and issuing tax invoices to clients.
- Scheduling meetings and organising calendars.
- File management, saving emails and correspondence to files.
- Answering and making phone calls.
- Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, Lawyers, Barristers and Principals.
- Opening new files and undertaking conflict searches.
- Other general administrative tasks as required.
Role requirements
As this is a junior role, we recognise you may not have prior experience. What is more important to us is your high level of attention to detail, motivation and commitment to learn.
In addition, you will have:
- Outstanding time management and a strong commitment to consistency.
- A natural inclination for taking initiative.
- A self-starter but also thrives in a collaborative work environment.
- Confidence in building lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite, as well as a natural flair for technology.
