Saddle Up Gunslingers, Moon Dog Wild West is coming to town! 

We're beyond excited to be bringing our really bloody fun & unique brand of hospitality to beautiful Footscray, with a view to swing open the saloon doors in Mid - Late March (Subject to project timelines). Our mind blowing three story, 800 pax venue will offer the best in food, beverages and entertainment, with our signature cheeky twist.

We’re seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to work with our Head Chef & Sous Chef in taking the reins in our brand-new kitchen. You will help to lead our kitchen team in smashing out delicious Tex-Mex & Americana inspired dishes. An emerging leader with experience in fast-paced, large kitchens, you will hustle to make Moon Dog Footscray one of the best places to work & eat in the West! The ideal candidate will have several years proven experience in similar roles (large, pumping, pub-like venues) and take great pride in what they do.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years experience as a qualified chef
• Experience in running busy service periods
• Strong food knowledge, ideally with Tex Mex/American or similar
• Experience with ordering and stock control
• Positive, friendly attitude, good people skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards
• The ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
