The Inglewood Hotel is a Gold Plate award-winning hotel with an outstanding reputation for traditional pub dining in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef who can deliver quality food and work with the Sous and Head Chef to assist in running a team to produce classic pub dishes in a stylish traditional pub dining environment.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
A hands-on role showing leadership in quality workmanship and brilliant presentation in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Level-headed and fast-moving where quality and speed are imperative.
Upholding policies and procedures with regard to OH&S and quality of work
An understanding of stock management and ordering with an emphasis on stock control
Staff management
Training and building a smooth and harmonious team environment.
Working to set budgets with wage, food costs and general expenses.
Co-ordinate and facilitate multiple menus from one kitchen.
Assist with implementing new ideas and developing new concepts in line with growing trends while upholding the traditional pub dining quality as a priority.

Available to work nights weekends and public holidays.
The successful applicant will have excellent people skills and be able to communicate at all levels. You must be self-motivated and have previous experience in a similar role.
