We are an innovative company that develops lighting, environmental and energy control systems (including Electrical Vehicle Charging System, Battery Energy Storage System and Microgrids). We are an engineering-based company with a strong emphasis in providing technical solutions and products for large commercial projects. Our head office is in Melbourne with an office in Brisbane and service centres and agents in all other major capital cities. Currently we employ approximately 24 staff with a culture that is based on an open and flat structure with an emphasis on teamwork and setting industry benchmarks through customer satisfaction
Position Outline:
Reporting to the Southern Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales operations for our Victorian, NSW, WA, SA and Tasmania customer base. Your responsibilities will include -
- Seeking opportunities and sales with a focus on our existing customer base.
- Proactively engage with contractors, wholesalers and builders to build long term relationships.
- Overseeing quotations, amendments, tracking sales opportunities and seeking orders.
- Undertake regular in person sales calls.
- Identify and generate new business leads.
- Maintain CRM including project qualification.
- Actively maintain a strong product knowledge of goods and services being supplied.
- Provide market and industry feedback for relative stakeholders
- Assist in the development of sales/marketing material

Relevant in-house and external training will be provided enable effective execution of the role
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Ability to read/understand electrical tender documents;
- Proficient in learning solution-based product offer quickly;
- Superior selling and negotiating ability;
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with customers;
- Good organisational and time management skills;
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously;
- An open drivers’ licence and your own vehicle;
- Relevant industry background will be viewed favourably
