What does the job look like?
Linfox operates Intermodal services across Australia, providing innovative and comprehensive supply chain solutions to various industries. Our business is experiencing an exciting period of growth and investment and we are challenging traditional supply chain models and embarking on a journey of innovation and optimisation across the network. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Key Account Manager to ensure we meet our commitment to tier one customers through the provision of quality service and operational efficiency.
Through a proactive approach to relationship management, this role is empowered to drive customer growth and retention by ensuring our service offerings reflect the Linfox core values of Loyalty, Integrity, Fairness and Trust and translate into the delivery of operational excellence. You will manage a high-performance team to drive performance, ensuring we remain the preferred option for safe and efficient long-distance logistics across the Cold Chain network. Key areas:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure service delivery is in line with contractual requirements
- Innovate and analyse to improve processes, reduce cost, maximise profit, share of wallet and revenue streams
- Lead business development opportunities including contract renewals, pricing and presentations based on customer requirements to facilitate organic growth, positioning Linfox as the Intermodal solution of choice
- Effective team management to promote a customer centric culture and early identification of potential service issues to enable solutions – provide guidance to Account Managers and oversee account performance
- Conducting financial and operational analysis to provide customer insight and ensure resources can be utilised to support continuous growth and improvement
- Manage new customer integration and ensure a seamless transition to a successful implementation
- Support Cold Chain compliance across all transport/warehouse freight movements with Internal/External stakeholders
Are you the one?
As a passionate supply chain professional, you will rely on your drive, resilience and commercial acumen to delight our customers with a partnership approach to solution selling. You can demonstrate:
- Significant experience in business development or account management within a complex supply chain environment
- Providing client-focused solutions ideally in a fast-paced multi customer environment
- Proactive approach to relationship management with proven record in transport sales or account management of large accounts
- Strong understanding of revenue models, rate cards, P/L, cost-to-serve and commercial analytics
- Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and manage contracts and/or transport agreements
