We are currently seeking an experienced Key Account Manager - Industrial and Foodservice to join our Commercial Team in a full-time permanent role. This position will be based at our Baxters headquarters and production site in Campbellfield, reporting to the GM - Commercial.
This role is responsible for the management of all aspects of the relationship between Baxters and the Non-Retail Sales Channels to ensure delivery of long-term growth plans and strategy for these channels.
Accountabilities:
- Development of long-term growth plans and strategy for the non-retail business
- Delivery of long-term growth plans in line with business goals
- To ensure effective process is in place to manage forecasting, costing, NPD and promotion, within the function.
- Establish and develop key relationships at the correct level within chosen customers.
- Create a sense of energy, purpose and customer service ethic that results in our customers utilizing BFA as the supplier of choice.
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities and manage the relationships to ensure sustainability in the new business arena.
- Drive distribution of existing and new products through the channels
- Responsible for channel sales demand by owning all volume and financial forecasts, this includes active monitoring of these KPI’s to understand performance and react with a viable plan.
Experience:
- A proven Account Manager, who has a history of winning new business and unlocking value opportunities.
- Has significant work experience in the Australian Foodservice space
- Demonstrated delivery of profitable sales growth in the Industrial and Foodservice sectors
- Experience in a role working within B2B customers, to unlock mutual growth opportunities.
- A broader commercial footprint of experience which involves either retail commercial, industrial B2B sales or both desirable.
Education:
- Business or other related degree
- Formal sales training
