Your New OpportunityAs our inaugural Kids Club Health Promotions Officers, you will be responsible for developing events, groups, and activities for children and families to promote healthy living, with a primary goal of getting children in our community to sign up for and attend yearly health checks.
Your key role will be to help children understand the importance of Primary Healthcare while delivering this in a fun and engaging way.
The core responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, planning, implementing and evaluating engagement/development programs for children and for children and families;
- Planning, and delivering Health Promotion programs to Aboriginal children and their parents;
- Finding unique ways to engage children with their health and with the importance of health; and
- Collecting, analysing, and communicating data around your programs to internal stakeholders.

What You Will Bring to the TeamAs our Kids Club Promotions Officers, you will have an understanding of and some experience in the healthcare industry. Crucial to your success in this role is your ability to engage and entertain children, while communicating important information.
Experience running group programs will set you up for success in this role as you develop unique programs tailored specifically to children.
You will have experience developing programs for children and families and a strong understanding of how to build rapport and connection with Aboriginal children and families. Experience working with Aboriginal communities is preferred.
Please note: You must hold a current Australian Driver's License and be able to pass a National Police Check and NT Working With Children’s Check (OCHRE Card).
