Committed to the core principles of Aboriginal self-determination, access, equity, empowerment, and reconciliation, we are an Aboriginal community-owned and controlled health service provider that provides holistic, culturally appropriate curative services and integrated preventative programs.

With a robust governance structure and comprehensive strategic plan, we continue to grow and expand our offerings to ensure it can achieve its vision of Healthy People, Strong Communities, and Bright Futures.

As our inaugural Kids Club Health Promotions Officers, you will be responsible for developing events, groups, and activities for children and families to promote healthy living, with a primary goal of getting children in our community to sign up for and attend yearly health checks.

The core responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning,  and delivering Health Promotion programs to Aboriginal children and their parents;
  • Finding unique ways to engage children with their health and with the importance of health; and

You will have experience developing programs for children and families and a strong understanding of how to build rapport and connection with Aboriginal children and families. Experience working with Aboriginal communities is preferred.

Please note: You must hold a current Australian Driver's License and be able to pass a National Police Check and NT Working With Children’s Check (OCHRE Card).
