Form of workThe Gatton Kindergarten is seeking an enthusiastic, Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualified Assistant Educator for our Thursday & Friday room to start as soon as possible. One of our loved staff members has had unexpected family commitments that have unfortunately meant she has decided to step down, and we are looking for another friendly face to join the room.
Gatton Kindergarten is a community-based organisation that has been providing care and support to families within the Lockyer Valley since 1955.
We are committed to providing a caring, motivating, and safe environment for families, where children can engage in interactive play and learning that supports their growth and development.

Is this position for you?
We are seeking qualified and motived individuals who have:
• Completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current First Aid certificate including CPR, Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Management.
• Current Working with Children Blue Card (Paid not volunteer).
• Must met the Eligibility and Right to work in Australia checks
• Willing to complete/able to provide a current police check (no older than 6 months)
• Knowledge and Understanding of National Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated Knowledge of Queensland Kindergarten learning guidelines.
• Previous experience in Storypark Program or similar.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience in Long Day Care Kindergarten.
• Strong focus on supporting and enhancing positive team culture.
