What You Will Be Doing
An ongoing opportunity exists for an experienced mine site Laboratory Operator at Rio Tinto's Yandicoogina mine.
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be physically testing (crushing, grinding, weighing, sieving) iron ore / base metals, conducting manual preparation using rotary sample dividers and other associated duties within a laboratory environment.
Skills & Experience
• Experience as a Laboratory Operator in a mining environment
• Current Australian 'C' class driver licence
• Software systems knowledge such as Starlims, SAP, FDMS, TIKS, SuperQ and ChemAlert
• Technical and analytical experience in flux fusion, Leco TGA, XRF, robotic sampling with Herzog equipment
