The Role
Reporting to the Laboratory Team Leader, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for ensuring analytical activities and associated tasks are conducted in a safe, professional, timely manner and in accordance with required policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately completing assigned tasks according to approved Laboratory procedures and work instructions in a timely fashion.
- Managing and preparing samples and reagents for analysis.
- Undertaking analyses with various analytical equipment and instrumentation as required.
- Contribute to a positive culture with a high regard for Safety, Inclusion and Diversity.
- Identifying anomalies in analytical results and assisting with the investigation of non-conformances.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are upheld.
- Undertake calibration and maintenance of equipment, consumables stock inventory control and assisting with other duties as required.
