- OBJECTIVES:
The Landscape and Maintenance Officer is responsible for estate and housing maintenance as directed as well as assisting the Estate Supervisor.
- MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- General horticultural maintenance and upkeep of the estate:
- Parks, verges, street trees, mulching of garden beds, weeding, replacement of failed plants, rubbish collection & removal, vacant lots.
- Painting and basic fencing work.
- Relocation/ setup of temp fencing.
- Setup / relocation of lot signage.
- Maintaining equipment.
- Assistance with setup of events as required.
- Other duties as directed.
- RELATIONSHIPS:
Build strong partnerships with all key stakeholders including management, staff, and clients to deliver a high level of customer service.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
- Possess or be willing to possess qualifications in horticulture.
- Maintain good knowledge of the company's business, market conditions and the property industry across all geographies.
- Maintain good technical knowledge of relevant legislation and/ or industry requirements.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to systems, reports and procedures.
- Participate in the ongoing training and development of yourself and the team.
- GENERAL:
- Maintain conduct that is respectful and courteous to others at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and. guidelines, as amended from time to time.
