Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.
John Holland is GoldlinQ's recommended design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7 kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.
Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education, and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast’s expected population growth in the coming decades.
As we begin to ramp up activities on this iconic Queensland project, we have an exciting opportunity for Senior Accounts Lead to be based in one of our Gold Coast project offices.
Key Responsibilites:
Manage complex invoices in line with contractual obligations and refer disputed claims by Subcontractors to the relevant Contracts Administrator.
Support Contract Administrators with processing of administratively heavy claims as needed.
Process delivery dockets daily, ensuring the docket has been signed by a John Holland representative.
Reconcile all assigned vendor accounts to statements and resolving disputes in a timely manner.
Prepare month-end accruals when required.
Manage and maintain project records, ensuring that information is accurate, up-to-date and stored.
Communicate and liaise with the client, external vendors, subcontractors and community stakeholders for administrative purposes.
Complete vendor set-up for project Suppliers and Subcontractors when required.
Provide basic support to colleagues on John Holland systems and programs.
Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, reporting, systems and procedures.
To be successful you will have:
High School Certificate or equivalent experience in administration
3-5 years experience in accounts administration in the construction industry
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skill
