The Opportunity:
The OpenText Professional Services team is comprised of more than 3,000 consultants who act as trusted advisors, managing long-lasting relationships with more than 100,000 customers around the world. They are responsible for the delivery of business solutions from pre-sales to post implementation. Our teams of experts help organizations solve issues, create value, improve business performance, and work more effectively in an increasingly digital world.
As an OpenText consultant you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you will be recognized as a subject matter expert. You will be supported with training on our solutions, the ability to receive relevant certifications and opportunities for advancement. Our experts also frequently have the opportunity to take part in international assignments.
You are great at:
- Driving requirements gathering activities
- Leading technical design activities
- Delivering a range of technical documentation relating to any software components delivered
- Working individually or as part of a team. Ability to lead a team
- Taking responsibility for delivery of quality work, on time and within agreed specifications
- Managing expectations of clients and internal stakeholders
- Interacting with both customer and internal OpenText project stakeholders to articulate specific technical options and decisions in a concise and clear manner
- Delivering technical knowledge transfers to customer IT and business users
- Supporting UAT, data validations and issue remediations
- Actively seeking new opportunities by working with the customer and the change control provisions provided by the contract, to extend the scope of profitable business
- Ability to assist with solutioning and technical estimates for new projects
What it takes:
- Experience in full lifecycle of implementation projects
- Experience of Opentext Exstream solution
- Systems Administration and Integration of Applications
- Any experience of InfoArchive or Records Management would be a bonus
- Ability to build and manage strong customer relationships, both internal and external
- Advanced interpersonal and documentation skills
- Highly motivated and opportunity focus - Team player, result driven, ambitious, responsible
- Takes an active interest in ongoing cross and upskill opportunities, training will be given
- Bachelor's Degree qualified in a relevant major, E.g. Computer Science or engineering discipline.
- 10+ years industry experience in a role(s) that show where your experience and abilities were honed
