About the role:

As the lead Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing an innovative, scalable, and robust Data Architecture to remediate existing issues and capability gaps. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Services, Risk & Security and business stakeholders you will produce a strategic Data Architecture and roadmap that ensures our data is secure, effectively managed, of high quality and enables our teams to make informed decisions and operate in a timely manner.

This is a maximum term 6-month position based in Norwest Business Park. 

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Analysing and understanding business requirements and current issues
• Lead the design and production of a strategic Data Architecture that ensures data across our systems is of high quality, supports our Data Services capability and ensures Anglicare complies with data security and compliance guidelines
• Develop a data governance process and guide on the adoption and implementation of this framework in practice and the appointment of data stewards 
• Work closely with the Data Services team to ensure it is set up for success
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on the linkages between Data and Integration services as part of our simplification mandate
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes as and where needed
• Inform and guide various stakeholders on any issues and risks with data solutions being proposed and implemented

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is preferred
• Certifications in one or more Cloud vendor offerings preferred
• strong knowledge of Data Architecture, design patterns and development methodologies.
• 5+ years working as a Data Architect on complex, enterprise-level projects
• experience working across complex organisational matrixes
