The Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Estimator to join our growing Xenco group team based in our Brisbane office. The successful candidate will have the ability to access new opportunities as they arise during the business development process.
What the role entails
- Analyse new opportunities to understand the requirements, risk and expectations from the potential client.
- Accurately estimate capital and operating costs for civil and mining services work including earthworks, load and haul operation, equipment mobilisation, project management, minor infrastructure construction
- Maintain and manage the administrative requirements of all new bids & proposals.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather the necessary details for tender submissions.
- Develop specific tailored proposals for each individual client.
- Respond in a timely manner to any new opportunities in the market.
- Excellent administrative & organisational skills.
- Detail orientated.
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
- Ability to work towards deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Previous experience in civil or mining estimator roles would be highly regarded.
