As Lead Finance in the State Library you will coordinate the management accounting process for State Library and provide analysis and advice about the strategic and operational funding issues impacting budgets. You will implement and maintain financial policies, procedures and practices that contribute to improved resource allocation and financial management within State Library. You must hold a relevant qualification in accounting or commerce and a holding a CPA/CA membership would be highly regarded.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who has strong leadership skills to lead the team, providing guidance support and mentoring, in the delivery or professional and responsive services. You will work closely with the Director, Finance and Operations and collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders analysing and providing advice on organisational and branches financial and budgetary performance. You should be capable of aligning financial goals with overall strategic objectives, be solution focused and understand financial regulations and compliance requirements.
