Are you passionate about fitness and wellness? Coogee Diggers Gym, located near the beach in Coogee, is seeking a vibrant  Full Time (or will consider Part time / Casual) Receptionist to join our team. Our upscale fitness hub offers an exclusive environment focused on holistic health and well-being with world class gym, pool, sauna, steam and soon to be installed ice baths. We are looking for someone that wants to progress their career in the fitness industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the welcoming face of Coogee Diggers Gym, providing a warm and professional greeting to our discerning members and guests.
  • Manage inquiries, phone calls, and emails efficiently, ensuring each interaction reflects our commitment to top-tier service.
  • Collaborate closely with the Facility Coordinator to boost revenue, engaging with members to promote membership upgrades and tailored services.
  • Navigate the arrears collections process diplomatically, preserving the trust and loyalty of our valued members.
  • Oversee member cancellations, implementing retention strategies to minimise churn and boost satisfaction.
  • Coordinate appointments for our busy members, managing our booking system to optimise their experience.
  • Maintain our pool area, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.
  • Provide essential administrative support, from data entry to record-keeping
  • Keep members informed and engaged by communicating events, promotions, and updates enthusiastically.
  • Showcase our amenities and services during facility tours, highlighting benefits tailored to our target demographic.
  • Guide members through the renewal process, presenting enticing options and benefits.
  • Uphold the highest standards of facility policies and safety regulations, addressing concerns promptly.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Sales: Meet or exceed monthly membership sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  • Enquiries: Respond promptly and courteously to all inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Collections: Effectively manage the arrears collections process to minimise outstanding debts.
  • Cancellations: Implement retention strategies to reduce member cancellations and enhance member satisfactions

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or reception roles, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, enabling efficient multitasking.
  • Familiarity with fitness facility operations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Possession of a Working With Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Fitness qualifications will be highly valued
