As a Leadership Manager, you will play an important role as part of the Culture & Leadership project team. You will help to define, shape, and implement Leadership practices and programs to drive lasting change across the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Reporting to the Stream Lead, Culture & Leadership, this is a fixed-term position until the end of December 2025. The Leadership Manager is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of a new framework that will shape the Bank’s leaders to drive and embed long lasting cultural change. The Culture & Leadership project team is a small but growing, high performing Agile squad with a broad transformation agenda. There will be opportunities to work with peers across a number of other HR domains including: Culture Change, Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Employee Engagement.
You will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast moving and dynamic project environment, with a passion for owning programs from design through to execution. To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience developing and implementing organisation-wide leadership programs. Experience working in an Agile project environment will be well regarded but is not required.
This role is a great fit for experienced HR professionals who have worked extensively in the leadership space. The stream has a significant scope and can provide opportunities to work across other HR domains to support delivery of the overall program’s objectives.
Your Role
Work with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to identify requirements, including reference to the priorities outlined in the RBA Review.
Provide expert advice and leverage experience developing and delivering programs at other organisations to create a best practice program of work.
Design a leadership framework that aligns to the program’s objectives, including identifying and developing success measures for the roll out.
Develop a strategic rollout plan, partnering with the central People team to ensure integrated deployment across all levels of leadership.
Co-design with key stakeholders, then facilitate workshops to roll out and embed the framework across the Bank’s leadership.
Work with internal communications and the project team to create collateral and resources to support the framework’s roll out and embedding.
Develop new leadership development programs for different levels of leaders.
Your Skills and Experience
Proven experience designing and delivering organisation-wide programs at all levels of leadership.
Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and gather comprehensive requirements.
Strong background in developing and implementing leadership frameworks in fast-paced, transformation environments.
Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to move between high level, strategic view of the overall program, then diving into the details of implementation.
Experience working in an agile model and familiarity with change methodologies is well regarded but not required for the role.
Your Team
You will join the RBA’s Future Hub, responsible for leading the Bank's response to the RBA Review (http://rbareview.gov.au/final-report), as well as aspects of the Deloitte Review. There will be four main program streams of which you will be part of the Leadership and Culture Stream. You will report to the Senior Manager, Culture and Leadership and work closely and support the Culture Manager and Project Manager.
