Learning And Development Manager

Our client, a fast-growing organisation with operations across Australia and a workforce of 1,000 people seeks a Learning & Development Manager to lead a team to develop and deliver learning across the organisation.  You will help the organisation achieve the operation capability required to deliver their critical services.  

This customer centric organisation invests in their people to ensure success and offer opportunities to progress.  You are a direct report to General Manager Organisational Development (OD).

Responsibilities

• Champion and support the organisation’s Capability Framework and Leadership Pipeline
• Assess the needs of the business, implement training and Development plans.
• Facilitate a range of learning options to enhance existing skills and knowledge.
• Manage and lead a geographically dispersed team of L&D Specialists and resources.
• Manage existing programs and develop new programs to support the business.
• Evaluate and report on Learning and Development initiatives to improve capability and compliance requirements.
• Manage projects.

  
Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications and a Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
• A genuine passion to making a difference.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a geographically dispersed team.
• Proven training and L&D experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge of and experience in the management of vocational education and professional development programs.

  
You will be both leader and hands-on practitioner.  As a national organisation there will be some interstate travel required.  You will be based in the Brisbane CBD office.  Hybrid working arrangements are not offered.
