Here is your chance to be a part of an amazing team working as the Learning & Development WHS Project Officer for a local government working on corporate and mandatory training within the council.
One of local government clients is looking for a Learning and Development consultant for a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. This excellent opportunity will give someone from either a generalist HR background or Learning and Development background to showcase your ability to develop corporate and mandatory training registry and conduct training needs analysis ensuring that all positions are in line with training requirements and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop the finalise corporate and mandatory training register
- Create procedures to ensure the appropriate administration of the training register
- Audit all staff qualifications, accreditations and licenses are accurate and updated on the content management and LMS
- Consult with each manager and members of the People and Wellbeing team to determine the WHS and training requirements for each position across council
- Assist with the consultation process with staff, managers and the consultative committee
- Work closely with the WHS BP
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and achieve performance objectives without supervision
- Qualifications or extensive experience working in Human Resources or Work Health and Safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Someone who is a critical thinker
- Strong research skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Someone who can influence
