Description
You will play a pivotal role in advancing the professional growth and development of employees. There are multiple roles available, responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning and development programs that align with the agency goals and promote a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Learning Program Development: Develop and manage a range of learning and development programs, including leadership development, technical training, and soft skills development, tailored to the needs of employees
Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skills gaps and learning priorities within the organization, using data-driven insights to inform program development
Content Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and update training curriculum, ensuring content is engaging, effective, and compliant with federal guidelines
Program Delivery: Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and webinars, and coordinate external training resources as needed to meet the learning needs of employees
Evaluation and Improvement: Develop and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, making recommendations for continuous improvement
Compliance: Ensure that all learning programs and materials comply with regulations, policies, and standards
Resource Management: Manage the budget and resources allocated for learning and development initiatives efficiently
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR teams, and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and objectives
Tech Integration: Explore and incorporate innovative learning technologies, e-learning platforms, and digital tools to enhance learning experiences
Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate the impact and progress of learning and development programs to senior management
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience in designing and delivering learning and development programs, preferably in a government or public sector setting
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements related to learning and development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
- Strong analytic and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Proven project management and organizational skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required
