Role Description
Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for a fixed term full time position as a Learning Support Officer to commence on as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities to provide support under the direction of teacher(s) or leader(s), to student(s) and will embrace a team-based approach to their role.
The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm, contribute to the life of the community and have the ability to provide the necessary care and support for students whilst respecting the ethos of the school.
Special Requirements
- Applicants must have a current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
- The successful applicant will have completed certificate 3 or 4 in Education Support, or equivalent and had relevant experience working with young students with disabilities and learning needs.
- The successful applicant will have had experience working with ASD students.
- Experience in administration and strong ICT skills.
- Candidates must have a current First Aid certificate or be willing to undertake a First Aid Training Course.
