Legal Assistant

Brand Partners is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the team. The candidate will provide support to all lawyers of the firm including legal administrative tasks, assisting with accounting / bookkeeping and the preparation of documents for litigation.

The successful candidate will have:

• 2 to 3+ years’ experience in a similar role at a reputable firm
• File opening and document management
• Answering phones and reception duties
• Office management tasks: invoicing and ordering of supplies
• Drafting letters and communicating with clients
• Filing court documents including use of online filing platforms (Redcrest)
• Diary management, arranging appointments and Zoom meetings
• Preparing briefs to Counsel, court books, chronologies and spreadsheets
• Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat proficiency
• Good technical knowledge and communication skills
• LEAP practice management software and Xero accounting software experience will be highly regarded
• Bookkeeping, accounting or similar experience will also be highly regarded.
