Cooper Grace Ward is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our commercial and private client team. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
You will need to be highly organised and proactive and maintain excellent working relationships. You will also enjoy working collaboratively with others in a busy team environment and take pride in providing top level support to your team.
The Role
The role is focussed on contributing to the smooth running of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diary and inbox management
- Administrative support to a partner and multiple fee earners
- Liaise with internal and external clients via telephone and email
- Preparation of correspondence and documentation
- General account and monthly billing processes
- File management including opening and closing files and ongoing management of electronic files
- General administrative duties as required
Essential Experience
- 1 to 3 years legal administration experience
- Strong attention to detail, and skills in prioritisation and time management
- Confidence, flexibility and ability to take a proactive approach to work
- A team player mindset, and desire to work collaboratively with the existing team
- Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
