About the Role:
Our client is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join their Brisbane office. You'll provide crucial support to their Front-End Construction team, comprising two partners, one Senior Associate, and several lawyers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing secretarial support for high-volume administrative tasks.
- Word processing, typing, and amending documents and correspondence.
- Handling day-to-day filing, scanning, copying, and organizing emails and legal documents (both physical and electronic files).
- Taking accurate messages and directing them through appropriate channels.
- Managing diaries for team members and scheduling meetings, both in person
The ideal candidate will possess prior Legal Assistant experience, coupled with flexibility, strong organizational abilities, and a drive to offer exceptional support to their authors. Additionally, you should exhibit:
- Initiative-taking capability
- Maturity in handling confidential data
- Exceptional communication skills for internal and external interactions
- Proficiency in multitasking and meeting deadlines
- Exemplary attention to detail
