An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Projects team in Melbourne on a full-time basis and contribute to the delivery of high quality legal support.
The role supports two fantastic partners and a team of lawyers and will be well-suited to an experienced administrative professional who is organised and proactive.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
- File management
- Managing calendars
- Billing, time coding and reporting
- Company, property and title searches
- Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation)
- Assisting with coordination of events and business development activities
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
- Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
