Based in the heart of Newcastle, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Legal Secretary to join our growing family law team.
The position
An exciting career opportunity for a proactive, passionate, friendly and well organised team member. The successful applicant will provide Legal Secretary support to two lawyers.
The successful applicant will have:

- Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
- Experience as a Legal Secretary in family law
Duties will include
• Administrative and legal support
• Liaising with clients
• Preparing and or filing court documents
• Photocopying and scanning
• Liaising with barristers, courts, expert witnesses and other
• Preparing tax invoices
• Managing solicitor’s diaries
Skills required are
- Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel;
- Accurate typing skills;
- Attention to detail; and
- At least 2-3 years Legal Secretary experience
