An opportunity has arisen in our Parramatta office for a Legal Secretary to join our Police Compensation Litigation team assisting a Partner.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Arranging medical appointments
- Drafting of correspondence and court documents;
- Providing assistance with enquiries from clients;
- Preparing briefs to counsel;
- File management;
- Diary management;
- General administration duties.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least one year experience working in a legal support role, preferably in the area of personal injury;
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to multi task whilst always maintaining a high level of attention to detail;
- Ability to be able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines;
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills;
- Knowledge of iManage software would be an advantage, however not essential as full training will be provided;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role would suit someone who has recently commenced their career in a legal firm and looking to expand their knowledge and skills, whilst working in a very friendly and collaborative team environment.
