A role has opened up within the Wills & Estates team, supporting a Senior Partner and their team. This is no ordinary wills and estates role. The matters you'll find yourself working on are the likes of high net worth families and complex estate litigation.
What we are looking for is someone who knows their way around a litigation secretary role. You'll have experience with all the usual litigation duties, like court documents, preparing briefs to counsel and of course the beloved, billing. This is a high volume practice area, so you'll be a pro at time management and have proven track record of performing well in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing briefs to counsel
- Preparation of court documents and correspondence
- Filing of Court documents
- Generating WIP reports, entering timesheets and billing
- Inbox and calendar management
- File management from start to finish
- Liaising with clients via email and telephone
- General ad-hoc admin
- 3+ years Legal Secretary experience (Wills & estate experience ideal, litigation experience welcome)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Billing experience not necessary but would be a bonus
- Reporting experience highly advantageous (ideally using Aderant)
- Willing to learn and upskill
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage fee-earners
- You'll be a quick learner and willing to up-skill where needed
- Work well under pressure and poses great time management skills
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
This role isn't open to those on Working Holiday Visas - sorry!
Law students could be considered as long as you fit the above requirements AND have at least 18 months left of your degree and can work full-time (Mon-Fri).
