A Permanent Part -Time position has become available for a Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant to be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Carseldine.
Things that work for us:
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health with 1 year experience or other qualifications suited to a Leisure and Lifestyle / diversional therapy role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Experience in an aged care facility, developing Leisure programs including working with dementia clients
Previous experience in managing small teams
Ability to be able to work on a permanent part time basis between Monday and Friday
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to follow directives as per care plan
Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role
