The Opportunity:
As a Lender Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of Lender Product calculations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, maintaining, and remediating the test harness. This includes the daily monitoring of the test harness dashboard, conducting weekly testing through lenders' calculators, and addressing discrepancies to ensure consistency between calculated and expected values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Test Harness Monitoring:
- Monitor the test harness dashboard daily to identify discrepancies in test scenarios.
- Take prompt action to investigate and address any failed scenarios.
- Weekly Lender Calculator Testing:
- Enter details from test scenarios into online and excel lender calculators on a weekly basis.
- Compare and validate expected values derived from test scenarios against calculator results.
- Update the test harness with any differing expected values to ensure alignment.
- Excel Calculator Management:
- Proactively engage with lenders to obtain the latest versions of excel calculators.
- Maintain an updated repository of lender excel calculators.
- Incorporate changes from updated excel calculators into the test harness as required.
- Test Harness Remediation:
- Analyse failing scenarios to determine if configuration updates, or code changes are needed.
- Execute configuration updates promptly or escalate code change requests to the development team.
- Re-run test harness scenarios after implementing required updates to ensure resolution.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Familiarity with financial calculations and lending domain is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills for proactive interaction with external stakeholders and internal teams.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
