Full training is provided in the specific duties of this Level 1 support role which includes:
- Providing first level client support by phone and email (and occasionally onsite)
- Logging issues in the support database
- Replicating customers' problems to understand the situation
- Handling problems and queries in a professional and timely manner
- Escalating support incidents to senior team members and support manager where necessary
- Maintain and update technical reference material
- Assisting in general Customer Support and administrative tasks
- An upbeat, professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn and the ability to pick up new systems and procedures easily
- A true 'can-do' attitude
- The ability to work as a team member and autonomously
- Prior experience in customer service or qualifications in IT. Any exposure to the IT sector is not essential however will be highly regarded
