If you are passionate about information technology, we want to talk with you! You will be a key member of the Managed Services Team, which strives to provide leading infrastructure support, services and solutions to our clients across Australia.

In this role, you will leverage your desktop, server and cloud knowledge to work with established internal teams and clients, delivering friendly and reliable client support working with on-premise and cloud solutions. Your work as a Service Desk Analyst will focus primarily on providing desktop, server and cloud based support and implementations and customer service.

You will have the opportunity to apply your skills and experience in a dynamic and growing MSP and SaaS organisation.

The Role

We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst. The role is a full time permanent position and requires the successful candidate to work with an experienced team providing SaaS and managed services support to our clients.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing troubleshooting and issue resolution for internal and external users
  • Answering phone calls and responding to support requests
  • Performing regular maintenance and upkeep tasks on client equipment
  • Processing quotes and orders, and liaising with third party suppliers
  • Working collaboratively with the team to deliver high quality, robust and scalable infrastructure solutions; and
  • Acquire knowledge and obtain certification in Windows server technologies, Cisco/Sophos Networking solutions and Microsoft 365 technologies.

Skills & experience

We are looking for:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory and Remote Desktop Services;
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Teams and SharePoint;
  • Experience designing and working with virtualised server, shared storage & highly available technologies;
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of TCP/IP, Virtual Private Network and client operating systems;
  • Client support and liaison, with excellent communication skills; and
  • A desire to learn and understand more about how systems work.

Exposure/Experience in the following is highly regarded:

  • 1st and 2nd level end user support;
  • Microsoft 365 administration and support;
  • Networking and systems administration;
  • Certifications from key vendors: Microsoft, Sophos, Dell.

Australian citizenship and security clearance is highly desirable.
