About the Role
We currently have vacancy in our Library Services team for an experienced Library Services Team Leader. Reporting to the Manager Community Services, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing the operations and forward planning of Council’s expanding Library Services, with a focus on ensuring the recreational, educational and cultural needs of our community are met.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:
- Degree qualifications in Bachelor of Arts – Library and Information Science or similar.
- A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage a team of professionals, particularly through challenges and change.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of budgets and determining financial targets.
- High level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate strategic directions, ideas and innovations.
- Demonstrated commitment to, and extensive experience in, delivering high quality customer service in a Library context.
- Current Working with Children Check.
