About the opportunityAs
Site Services Assistant, you will support students, staff, and community members in their use of the full range of information services offered by the library at various sites.Your key responsibilities (working in a team setting) will be to:
- deliver high-quality assistance at service points, online and via telephone by using your excellent customer service skills
- ensure that clients identify the information they require to support their learning, teaching, and research needs
- maintain the collection and provide administrative support to an area of service delivery, for example resource sharing or unit of study reading lists.
Flexibility is essential, with staff working across the various library locations and delivering service to support opening, closing and weekend hours. This role will work across campuses, including Camperdown/Darlington and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music campus. The University Library reserves the right to transfer or rotate the location of this position to any of its Library sites based on workloads, professional development, or business needs. Experience working in a library or learning support environment is desirable.
