The Role
Employment services is a people business, and we focus on people first. Create relationships with your caseload and assist them to address non-vocational challenges with a view to improving their employment capability. Be curious rather than judgmental to assess clients for non-vocational barriers to employment, develop a support plan and coordinate appropriate referrals.
Collaborate with Employment Services staff working within our highly effective and proven strategy for success to deliver excellence, successful candidate will work between Geelong, Corio, Belmont and Torquay.
A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling) is required along with membership with the relevant professional association (e.g. AASW, APHRA, PACFA).
Duties
• Assess clients for non-vocational barriers to employment
• Collaborate with clients to develop their support plan and facilitate referrals to local service providers
• Maximize opportunity for your caseload through understanding each individual’s barriers
• Work in partnership with Employment Services staff to enable employment outcomes
• Multi-task, stay organized and maintain accurate records

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have a driver's license and the right to work in Australia.
