Our Lifestyle Support Workers empower our clients to shine brightly, and we're dedicated to finding the ideal candidate to accompany one of our clients on their daily pursuit of an extraordinary life.
We seek an individual who:
- Seeks a community access/support role, focused on fostering mutual friendships, providing daily care and support and assisting our client to live their best life.
- Willing to assist with personal care duties.
- Contribute positively to the personal growth of our client.
- Can hold their own personal boundaries and is comfortable doing so whilst ensuring our client is treated with the utmost level of respect.
What you will Bring.
- Committed to ongoing personal growth and eager to learn.
- Flexible with scheduling, adaptable to a 24/7 roster system for some positions, or the ability to commit to permanent part time hours with other clients.
- Excellent communication skills, dedicated to providing top-notch service to clients.
- Adept at listening, capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Confident and composed in diverse settings, maintaining professional boundaries.
- Provides personal care with dignity and sensitivity.
- Enjoys staying active and embracing new adventures, aligning with our client's enthusiasm.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Paid status)
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (Paid status)
- QLD Australian C Class Driver’s License with car insurance and registration
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
- Certificate III in Disability
- Hope and Healing Certificate
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trained.
- Mental Health First Aid certified.
