This is an exciting time for Tardiss! We have just moved into our new premises and are still growing fast.
We currently have casual roles in Townsville, Ayr and Charters Towers for Lifestyle Disability Support Workers both experienced and entry-level. Indigenous applicants will be highly regarded.
Tardiss is a not-for-profit disability service providing a range of innovative supports to individuals and their families based on the principles of the NDIS. Tardiss’ individualised supports focus on enabling people to achieve their goals and aspirations by honouring each person’s uniqueness, talents, and abilities.
Tardiss’ culture is one of safety, human rights, and service excellence and the Lifestyle Disability Support Worker is responsible for implementing support services aimed at maximising the living, employment, social and recreational skills of people with a disability.
Tardiss pay rates are subject to the SCHADS Award.
About You
Are you responsible, fun, culturally diverse, highly motivated and enjoy actively supporting People with Disabilities to work towards their goals? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of people with Disabilities?
Do you have,
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow card)
- Working with children check (Blue card)
- Current class C driver license (QLD) and ability to use your own insured vehicle.
- Reliability and availability to work a variety of shift times.
