What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit are currently seeking an intrastate Load Planner to join the team located in Blayney NSW. Within this role you will be responsible for managing the load planning, allocating, manifesting, invoicing, compliance, general data entry and assisting with payroll functions. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday, starting from 7:00am and finishing at 4:00pm. Key areas:

• Work closely with the operational team to manage workload and operational planning and manifesting.
• Plan the interstate dock schedules for our outbound DCs in line with driver hours, labour availability and cost.
• Developing sound relationships with our customers and our sub-contractors alike.
• Ensure subcontractors receive full and clear instructions surrounding the pickup, transportation and delivery of goods.
• Monitoring all loads in transit, arrivals times, equipment.
• Review KPI performance and develop action plan to identify and resolve any contract or performance breaches.

Your ability to work in an open, collaborative, and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:

• Experience within the transport industry.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures when things don't go according to plan.
• Experience and knowledge in planning/scheduling, chain of responsibility, operations and data entry.
• Knowledge in SAP, Transport Management Systems, MT Data, MS Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint is highly desirable.
• Strong history of scheduling/coordination.
• Self-driven to achieve and drive outcomes on a daily basis.
