Property looks after one of Australia's most dynamic portfolios. Coles Group has over 2,500 retail locations around Australia-and we're growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all things property, from site acquisition through to asset management.
A rare opportunity as a Location Planner has arisen within our passionate and cohesive Location Planning team. In this exciting role, you will have influence and see the output of your work come to life.
About the role
Reporting to the Location Planning Manager, you'll be empowered to help set the long-term growth strategy for the Coles Group ( Liquor) across a specific set of states.
You'll also
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for new store proposals
- Produce reports to help support individual store renewal projects
- Provide and present Insight on the retail market to more senior colleagues.
Proactive and energetic, you come from a large retailer, specialist retail, or property consultancy. Degree qualified in Geography/ Economics/ Urban Planning/ Commerce you hold 2+ years' experience analysing sales or customer data for location planning, ideally using Geographical Information Systems.
You'll also have
- Awareness of forecast methodologies (preferred but can be taught)
- Solid stakeholder management skills
- Ability to “story tell” to more senior colleagues
- Ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and manage stakeholder expectations.
