Be responsible for the logistic coordination of all materials and personnel onboard the ship.
Whether you have recently finished school, currently studying, already in the workforce or you have no experience at all, you'll be paid from day one. You'll gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job training.
As a Logistics and Finance Officer (known in the Navy as Maritime Logistics Officer), you are responsible and accountable for the ship’s personnel and the delivery of all logistic support functions required by the ship, to sustain a high level of capability and operational readiness.
Your duties at sea will see you being responsible for the supply of spare parts for maintenance, port visit planning and replenishment, financial management, management of catering and hospitality services, business management of all logistic support functions (material and personnel) and keeping Command up to date on resource sustainability.
Working ashore, you could be employed in several areas such as operational logistics (national and international), major projects and capabilities, financial management, logistics policy, training and career management.
Your duties include, but aren’t limited to:
Managing logistics department
Supply of spare parts for maintenance of the ship
Port visit planning and replenishment
Managing catering and hospitality services
Financial management
Analysing resources
Providing advice to Command on resource sustainability
Operational logistics (national and international)
Logistics policy
Training and career management
