We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team within our Brisbane branch. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager QLD and is responsible for overseeing the logistical operations function.
Duties include:
- Ensuring goods are safe and fit to travel
- Generating dispatch documents
- Book couriers as and when required, being mindful of cost and service required to meet the customers needs.
- Communicate all delays and transport issue to direct report
- Ensuring all despatch paperwork is clear and correct so the product is delivered to the correct location and the customer understands what he has received.
- Ensuring all freight information is loaded into ERP so POD’s can be accessed easily.
- Ensure all warehousing/transport related documents are filed away correctly and accurately
- Liaising with the project management team to ensure site deliveries are delivered as per customer requirements, using and updating project management spreadsheets as required.
- Provide analysis on freight costs and review cost reduction activities
- Assist with training new employee if and when required
- Coordinate all known warehouse/ transport issue to stake holders
- Maintain good housekeeping standards.
