Position Summary
This is an Entry-Level position where you will be responsible for coordinating the timely delivery of MYMC products to retail and individual customers. You must have the ability to work well in a small yet diverse team, with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Linehaul bookings for online, retail pickups
- Create and send manifests for online and retail deliveries with strict adherence to the schedule
- Ensure Logistics Reports and documents are filed correctly and uploaded daily
- Review GNR report and Depot Stocktake from HDS daily and action accordingly
- Manage all Woolworths, Coles, Metcash, and 7Eleven orders to ensure production and dispatch meet PO delivery requirements. Ensure all dispatch documents are printed and pallets are correctly labeled
- Daily check of Finished Goods Stock On Hand and send the request to the Production team if required to cover all picking for the day, must be done before 8 am Mon-Sat.
- Monitor CHEP pallets account closely and alert management of any rejections or incorrect transfers
- Weekly Report of meals past UBD which have to be disposed of
- Ensure timely dispatch of Sample orders Mon-Fri
- Action daily Delivery Updates at noon from the CS Team and ensure all details are actioned by Picking Supervisors
- Be contactable during the day by internal and external stakeholders to ensure any urgent changes or updates can be actioned and communicated to the relevant departments
- Closely monitor the operations email for correspondence from transport companies regarding delays or issues. Urgent issues must be responded to within an hour
- Send daily Logistics Summary Report to Head of Facilities & Supply Chain
Person Specifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics, preferably FMCG environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written & attention to detail
- Able to handle requests from key stakeholders, work within tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure
- Solid knowledge of Advanced Excel (MS Office suite)
- Experience as a Transport Allocator will be a plus
