The Logistics Coordinator (Inbound) will be hands-on and responsible for placing purchase orders with local and international vendors, coordinating orders with freight forwarders, and scheduling timely delivery of orders to the Koh warehouses.

About you: 

You are an individual who has a keen eye for detail, open to new ideas, is a team player, loves to communicate and comes with experience in purchasing and international logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Place purchase orders with local and international vendors in line with the supply plan.
• Work with Freight Forwarders to ensure shipment bookings are received from vendors on time.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Coordinate payments to vendors to ensure on time release of goods.
• Collate and process shipping documents.
• Provide documentation to customs.
• Communicate with the warehouses regarding delivery scheduling and product information.
• Reconcile invoices with the good receipt and raise claims for damages and short supply.
• Maintain accurate item and vendor master data.
• Review and resolve any issues relating to inbound logistics activities in a timely manner and ensure any potential shipping delays are communicated.
• Review, identify and implement initiatives to improve existing processes.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable being a self-starter and ability to manage day to day issues across many elements of the work.
• Experience in a similar logistics or freight forwarding role .
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and global shipping compliance.
• Experience working with international vendors.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
