About the job
Based in Port Melbourne, an exciting opportunity exists for a Logistics Coordinator within the Services 3PL Logistics Dicker Data team to join an established nation-wide team in an Aussie-owned company with a culture of autonomy and diversity. You will be undertaking all aspects of warehouse receiving and dispatching of goods, providing high level of customer service to all incoming enquiries received, and ensuring that deliverables are achieved as per client SLA.
What you will do in the role
- Picking, packing, and processing orders
- General warehouse duties
- Receipting stock into the SAP system and dispatch deliveries out to client
- Ensure stock gets put away in correct bin locations provided in warehouse
- Process returns and book couriers to collect goods
- Coordinate stock counts across all client locations within your local environment
- Quarantine shortages or damages
- Provide support to the wider logistics team on all escalations and requests
- This role requires you to be rostered “On Call” outside of normal business hours. One week on, one week off.
What you will need to succeed in the role
- High attention to detail
- Heavy lifting is required
- A current forklift licence is required
- Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and in accordance with client set SLA’s
- Maintain an attitude that inspires self-improvement and success within the team
- Be able to work well in a small team environment
- High level of initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Basic - Intermediate SAP preferred
- WMS / ERP systems experience preferred
- Current First Aid Certificate preferred
