About the Role:
An exciting and newly created position exists for a Logistics Improvement Officer which will be responsible for championing all elements of Continuous Improvement in our day-to-day business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics operations
- Conduct regular performance evaluations to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports to management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce logistics expenses
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in all logistics activities
About you:
- Minimum five years' experience in international trade execution
- Proven experience in logistics operations, with a focus on process improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications
- Strong project management skills and the ability to engage all stakeholders.
