The organization
People2people are extremely excited to be partnering with a highly regarded NFP who is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join their procurement team. As an organization their focus is on providing support, supervision and accommodation for future generations who are in need.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end procurement activities across the organization coupled with the opportunity to take on project-based initiatives. Working with a diverse range of established suppliers as well as sourcing new suppliers when required – you will have the opportunity to identify areas of improvement – from processes and procedures that lead to cost savings where possible.
Selection criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Supply Chain, Logistics / Business Administration)
- Experience in a procurement role with demonstrated stakeholder liaison skills
- Thorough understanding of procurement standards
- Exp or exposure to contract reviews and new supplier set up
- Tech savvy – MS Office Suite, ERP (TechOne adv)
- Current QLD driver’s license
- Current or willing to obtain a Blue Card
